I’m a Renowned Author, So Why Do They Call Me a Ghost Story?

New book: Simulated into Reality: I'm Really Not Your Dao Companion in a Past Life

Zhuang Zhou transmigrates to a parallel world where literature has fallen into decline, and plans to make a little money by copying works from his previous life.

But he soon discovers that something is strange about this world.

Ghostly figures lurking in dark corners, a serial killer with a taste for women's wrists, a small village ravaged by plague, larvae breeding in the evil thoughts of the human heart…

And also,

A Peach Blossom Spring where people can be planted in the soil,

The city of Macondo, a mirage that devours memories.

Faced with all this,

Zhuang Zhou glances at the System panel and simply gives a faint, crooked smile.

Urban legends?

No! Material!

So much material, hahaha~!!

Reporter: “What do you think of readers' reviews when your short story The Rat in the Walls was published?”

Zhuang Zhou sighs. “Why would they think my Cthulhu Mythos was going to come to nothing?”

Reporter: “What about your first full-length horror novel, The Shining?”

Zhuang Zhou shrugs. “Life is so dull. I just wanted to make it a little more interesting when I wrote it.”

Reporter: “Finally, where did you get the material for your online novel Strange Tales?”

Zhuang Zhou replies calmly, “Thanks for asking. It happened to me.”
