After Favoring the Puppy-Like Man, My Female CEO Wife Regretted It

The young star Qi Ming sent her a video of himself jumping into the sea. She thought Qi Ming had been threatened by me, and was so heartbroken that she wanted to kill herself. To stand up for her puppy, my wife called Qi Ming, then slapped me hard across the face. “He's just a kid. You're a grown man, so why are you picking on him?”

Qi Ming's tearful, aggrieved voice came through the phone. “Brother-in-law, I'm sorry. If you really can't stand me, I'll try not to show up in front of you anymore. But could you please not kick me out?”

My wife sneered. “He wouldn't dare. He's like a dog in our house. He has no right to tell me what to do.”

Soon, I learned that not long ago, she had used the company's working capital to invest in several big-budget productions starring Qi Ming.

I realized it was time to leave.
