Interstellar: Will Blowing Up My Troops Like This Hurt You?

It's interstellar literature! I knock! 4202 There are still people writing about Interstellar! Really, I cried to death

Li Peinan (Game ID: Oliveira, former ID: TIME) 12 , born in June 2000, is a professional player of the e-sports game "StarCraft 2", China's first "StarCraft 2" world champion, currently playing for the KZ Gaming team 16 On February 13, 2023, Li Peinan participated in the "StarCraft 2" project of the 2023 IEM World Finals. Before the start of the competition, Li Peinan's prediction of winning was only 0.37%, But he finally defeated Reynor, the world's number one Zerg user, herO, the world's number one Protoss user, and Maru, the world's number one Human user, in succession. He won the championship in the most convincing way. 16 . This is the first world championship won by a Chinese e-sports player in the "StarCraft 2" e-sports event11

Warning for multiple pictures! I found that there are some readers who have never played StarCraft 2. As a very good Zerg player, I would like to briefly introduce the Zerg game mechanics, building units, basic arms and related skills, so that cloud readers can have a more visual experience when reading the article. Behind each unit, there will be match scenes from the top professional Zerg players in the past two years to aid understanding. (It's a little blurry when I send it to my mobile phone, so I'll make do with it.) Because the author has not experienced the 14-year period of insect heart, all popular science content is written based on the latest information on military units. If there is something wrong that you say, please pat me down gently. StarCraft II is actually a game that integrates construction, management, and combat at the same time (there is even a love element in the battle about the overbearing queen falling in love with me). The basic operation logic is very simple: Collect more resources, use the resources to build corresponding buildings and troops, and the ultimate goal is to defeat the opponent. Like the other two races, the starting resources of the Zerg are very simple, a base (hatchery) + 12 worker bees (also called farmers) + 2 larvae (also called eggs) + a king insect (also called a house). Most Zerg units must rely on larvae to hatch. Each base will spawn larvae every few seconds. At the beginning, the larvae can only hatch farmers and Euglens. Farmers, as the name suggests, are used to collect resources, while king insects involve a very important concept in the game: population. King insects can increase the maximum number of farmers and combat units that a player can produce. The population in StarCraft 2 can theoretically reach a maximum of 200, but only 14 people can be built at the beginning, so you need to build a king insect immediately to expand the population. One difference between the Zerg and the other two races is that all the buildings of the Zerg are built by farmers. Generally, at the beginning, Zerg players will use farmers to transform into two buildings, a blood pool and a gas fountain. Gas springs are used to produce another resource, gas, which is often referred to as "gas". Combat arms generally need to use "gas" to produce or upgrade. The higher the gas content, the stronger the combat capability. After the blood pool is completed, two combat units can be unlocked: Queen and Springtail (also known as "dogs"). Springtails Also known as "Dogs", as the lowest level unit of Zerg, Springtails are famous for their cheapness. They can rely on their numerical and speed advantages to easily surround and kill the enemy's primary units. But when fighting against advanced arms, they often can only play the role of cannon fodder. The Queen can be said to be the key to all Zerg operations and defense. It can be directed up to the air or down to the ground, it can be injected with eggs and blood, it can be pulled up and down anywhere, and it can be spread with fungi to expand the field of view. Generally, the Zerg will start farming the queen if they have some money in the early stage. However, there is a limit to the number of queens, equivalent to the number of hatcheries (or their upgraded buildings) owned. Continuing operations after that, the basic units that the Zerg can produce include—— Cockroach It is cheap to build and has an extremely fast life recovery speed. It is one of the most important ground-attack units in the early stage of the Zerg. Cockroaches can evolve and be upgraded to fire cockroaches that can smash fire. Poison Explosion Banelings mutated from springtails have terrifying lethality. Banelings may seem normal, but when they detonate their venom, it means the death of enemy troops. Another interesting point is that banelings can explode while buried in the ground. Although it is a bit flashy in actual combat, top Zerg players have also used this trick to turn the tide and seal the victory. The above are all the technological arms of the Zerg. To unlock more advanced arms, you need to upgrade the second base first, that is, upgrade the hatchery to an insect lair. After the upgrade is completed, you can build the following units: Wyvern The fast-moving flying dragon is the main aerial power of the Zerg, and the unique projectile attack mechanism of the flying dragon will be very effective when facing groups of enemies. Hydralisk Advantages: Ground to air, I can't think of anything else... The biggest effect is probably that it mutates into a ground thorn. At present, the probability of seeing a Hydralisk in the professional arena is not high. Ground Thorn It is a mutant of the Hydralisk. It is one of the important units in the middle and late stages of the Zerg. It cannot attack on the ground. It can only attack in a straight line after being buried. Any local troops on the line will be hit. Infection Although the chubby infected do not cause any harm themselves, they are very powerful magic troops. For example, you can use thick fog to reduce damage at a critical moment, or control important enemy units for a certain period of time. Corruption Corruption is a heavy air force that can only attack the air. It is a killer of large battleships. It can also use its ability to temporarily paralyze the opponent's buildings. Host This thing that looks like a lotus or shower head can generate an army on itself. It can hatch parasitic symbionts called locusts, which attack surrounding enemies with strong acidic saliva. It looks very cool, and the current strength is hard to describe. It is suitable for high segmentation and low segmentation to make the whole program effect lively. Euglenoids Euglenids mutated from king worms can not only detect and discover enemy invisible units, but can also produce transformation worms to turn them into the enemy's appearance. The above are the two technological arms of the Zerg. To unlock more advanced arms, you need to upgrade to the third main nest or upgrade the giant spire first. The third-level units of the Zerg are as follows: Flying Snake Flying Snake, the eternal god of Zerg players, everyone understands it. The three magic skills are instantaneous and must be introduced in detail. (1) Kidnapping: The skill allows the flying snake to pull a unit to the position of the flying snake (2) Yellow Mist: Changes the attack range to melee (3) Parasitic Bomb: Causes 120 points of damage to the target and nearby air units within 7 seconds. The target's death parasitic bomb will continue forever. Thunder Beast Nicknamed "Big Bull", the huge Thunder Beast is an indispensable offensive unit among the Zerg ground troops. In particular, the attack ability of its sharp horn is very suitable for destroying enemy buildings. Ultralisks are immune to stun and mind control effects. Lair Lord Nicknamed "Big Dragon" (not to be confused with the flying dragon), the Lair Lord evolved from the Corruptor and has powerful ground attack capabilities. They will hatch parasites to attack the enemy. There are three special units left, which are important static buildings that assist the attack. Let's introduce them together by the way. Spine Crawler Also known as "Pipe", the Spine Crawler can only attack the ground. However, these guys can move to change their stationed location, but moving outside the creep will be very slow. Spore Crawler The alias is still called "Pipe" (-_-||). Like the Spinal Crawler, the Spore Crawler can also move its station position, but the difference is that the Spore Crawler can only attack in the air. The detection capability will be temporarily disabled in the unplugged state. The Nydus Worms The Nydus Worms hatched from the Tunnel Network live underground all year round. The Zerg rely on this characteristic to train the Nydus Worms into their excellent underground vehicles. When the Nydus Worms emerge from the ground, a large number of Zerg troops will follow. The above, construction is completed! @reader Last time I said in the group, please add more details to what I wrote, don't forget to~ When you have time, maybe do another introduction to the Protoss arms, or write a series about those Zerg players in my memory? I don't know if anyone wants to see it

It is indeed not easy to write articles about interstellar e-sports nowadays, but the author's description of the game is too lacking in sophistication, and some basic common sense things are wrong. The protagonist is reborn in 2014, and it is still the Worm Heart version. At that time, he would start with 6 farmers, not 12 farmers now. The operating rhythm is completely different. It is impossible to release 2 mines in 47 seconds, and there are no troops such as apostles, fire cockroaches, ground thorns, and batteries. Non-experienced players may not be able to understand these things, but I was still a little surprised when I saw them. I hope the author writes better and better

When I think of it, the last pure interstellar novel seems to have been written without guilt. How many years have passed, from a young boy to an old man in his thirties, I can still read interstellar literature.

I just searched it on Qidian. Com. This book is the only one in interstellar e-sports. The author is really brave.

What's the use of winning the championship? Can I buy a villa in Hangzhou? With that little bonus, you can buy a Porsche at most. If you ask me, it would be better to dominate the fish market. If Jack Ma wants to eat fish in Hangzhou, it depends on your face. That is success. It is best not to write that younger brothers and sisters will divide the family property.

After reading the latest one, I can say that the writing is quite interesting. I would like to give some suggestions to the author. Move the time point back 2 years to 2016. The 2016 version will be the Legacy of the Void version, which is more consistent with what the author wrote. The 2014 version of Heart of the Swarm started with 6 farmers, but the suddenness of the tactics at 12d was actually quite average. Apostles are also only available in the virtual version. The 12-peasant start is also a virtual legacy version. Base 3 eggs are also the Void Legacy version, and Heart of the Swarm has 4 eggs. Those who haven't watched StarCraft or haven't watched the previous games of Legacy of the Void may not care much. Those who have watched the previous version of the game may find it a bit strange.

The cat next door saw the book recommendation and came over to take a look. Someone is writing about StarCraft e-sports again. It's really rare.

If we do not discuss the number of champions in professional competitions, the Protoss (the Protoss, often represented by the letter P) is undoubtedly the race with the best player base at present. Whether it is the current number of amateur players, the number of professional players, or the bright and cool appearance, the Protoss is far ahead with an overwhelming advantage. If the Zerg (commonly represented by the letter Z) is the race chosen by geniuses, then the Protoss is the race with the lowest entry threshold and the most friendly to ordinary players. Therefore, there will be an endless stream of evil jokes such as "Zergs dominate the game, Gods dominate the ladder". At the same time, the Protoss also have diverse play styles due to different technology trees. There are many tactical artists among the Protoss professional players, and they are a race more suitable for "proposing" (displaying tactics) in StarCraft 2. The Protoss starts with: one base (Protoss Hub) + 12 farmers (explorers). Star Hub Unlike the Zerg base that can be upgraded, the Protoss base cannot be upgraded. However, it provides three very important functions for the Protoss combat system. (1) "Star Acceleration": All construction or upgrades of this building will be accelerated by 50% compared to normal. Because the construction speed of the Gods' troops is slow, this function can effectively increase the production capacity of the Gods. (2) "Tactical Recall": Can recall the divine troops within a certain range on the map at will. (3) "Charger Overload": Charge the shield battery. (However, this skill may be canceled in the next version... We will change it at that time) Explorer A farmer of the Protoss, responsible for mining and executing construction instructions. One explorer can build multiple buildings at the same time. Crystal Tower The Protoss population is expanded by building Crystal Towers. (If you don't know what "population" means, you can read the introduction in the first chapter of the Zerg Chapter). The Crystal Tower provides an energy matrix for the Protoss, which can be understood as a power field. All buildings of the Protoss must be within the energy range of the Crystal Tower in order to operate. Once the Crystal Tower falls, the Protoss buildings will become dim and lose their ability as if there is a power outage. After this, the first thing to be built was the "portal". Portal The Protoss Barracks. In terms of setting, the protoss troops are teleported from the distant planet Aiur, and the portal can summon the protoss' ground troops. A single portal can only summon one unit: Zealots. Zealot Nicknamed "Chacha", it is the main ground assault unit of the Protoss. When the Zealot upgrades its charge and attack speed capabilities, it can better pursue the enemy. Under the normal process, the "Control Core" will be built next, which is used to unlock and build the following units and static defense buildings - Apostle Anti-ground infantry unit, which features the ability to use "psionic teleportation" to project an illusion that can be controlled alone, unable to attack or be attacked, and teleported to the location of the illusion after a short period of time. Apostles cannot fight against air, and have little effect against heavily armored units. They are generally used to interfere with the opponent's economic development in the early stage. Stalker One of the indispensable and important units of the Protoss, which can attack air and ground targets. The particle fragmentation cannon equipped by the Stalker can be upgraded to "Flicker" to achieve teleportation skills over a short distance. By blinking, Stalker can not only avoid enemy attacks, but also achieve high mobility on the battlefield. Mechanical Sentinel The Sentinel is small and looks a little frail, but it has many practical auxiliary combat capabilities. For example, you can use your stance to create an air wall to isolate the enemy's attacks, you can also emit a damage reduction shield centered on yourself, and you can also create the illusion of any god's arms to confuse your opponents into cheating on their skills. Shield Charger Also called "battery", it restores health to the target unit or building. Although the above four are basic arms, they are almost the combination of arms used by the Protoss in the early, middle and late stages. As long as you master these four arms, you will be the next AlphaGo. Next, you can choose the mode of sending troops at the beginning, and upgrade the "Transportation Gate" to the "Warp Gate". The warp gate can directly refresh troops at any place covered by the energy matrix on the battlefield. The biggest difference between the Protoss and other races is the jump mechanism, which allows you to recruit troops anywhere, which is undoubtedly great news for people with handicapped hands. After the construction of the control core is completed, you can choose different technology tree options 1. Build a warp star gate and open the air combat unit technology tree (VS for short) 1.1 Basic arms (a) Prophet As a protoss aerial harassment and spellcasting unit, it moves fast, but has low blood volume and is very fragile. The current mainstream play style is to quickly use the prophet to harass (poking the opponent's farmers) and defend the opponent's early attack. At the same time, you can also set up invisible traps that will freeze the opponent once they step into them. (b) Void Glow Ship Generally referred to as "void", it can target both the ground and the air. It was once the main output unit of the Protoss like the Colossus. However, after being cut for a few rounds, its original movement speed was slow. It also added the restriction that the movement speed must be reduced to activate the heavy armor bonus. It is currently mainly used against the Zerg. (c) Phoenix As an important air control unit of the Protoss, Phoenix will pose a greater threat to enemy air units. Not only that, Phoenix can also use gravity beams to lift enemy ground combat units, limiting their ability to participate in combat. 1.2 Advanced Arms (a) Storm Battleship The Storm Battleship can cause a large amount of damage to air units, and its biggest feature is its ultra-long attack range. In addition, it cannot beat the human race's Yamato battleship, nor can it compare with the Zerg flying snake's skills. Coupled with the slow movement speed and the ultra-low cost performance of 5 people, the appearance rate is really not high. (b) Aircraft Carrier The heavy aircraft carrier is like a hive with heavy armor and shields. It releases small aircraft (interceptors) to attack important enemy targets. Although the movement speed is extremely slow, it is one of the most powerful units in the middle and late stages of the Protoss. If used properly, it can be very destructive. 2. Warp mechanical platform, open the ground + warp + detection technology tree (referred to as VR) 2.1 Basic troops (a) Detector Also known as "Ding Dong", it is permanently invisible and can detect surrounding invisible, burrowing and illusion units. (b) Warp Prism Referred to as "prism", it can transport protoss units, and more importantly, it can produce an energy matrix after unfolding. It can be used instead of the crystal tower to summon the protoss troops at the desired location, which is a necessary unit for the protoss to attack. (c) Immortal Immortal has thick health and strong attack power. It is the main damage output unit of the Protoss ground forces. After being attacked, it will form short-term armor for a short time. It is often nicknamed "Immortal Dad". 2.2 Advanced Arms (a) Colossus The huge colossus has terrifying lethality against low-level enemy units, such as spearmen or springtails (dogs), and can move across obstacles. However, due to its slow movement, the Colossus can easily become a target for the enemy, so it needs to be covered by front-line troops, and its appearance rate is average. (b) Disruptor Generally called "self-destructing ball", it is something that Protoss players love and hate. Due to its erratic attack trajectories and its ability to attack friendly and enemy units indiscriminately, many protoss players do not like to use it even if it is a unit that does huge damage. It's the strength of this thing that doesn't depend on you, but on your opponent. If you face top professional players, you will often not be able to explode even a single self-destructing ball, but if you are an amateur player, a few self-destructing balls may end the battle. 3. Council of Light and Shadow, open the Templar technology tree (VC for short) Basic arms (a) High-level Templar Nicknamed "Electric Soldier", they are thin and are pure spell-casting units. High-level Templars master two powerful magic skills. If used properly, they will become the key to determining the victory. (1) Feedback: Clear the energy of local troops' magic arms. (2) Psionic Storm: Launch a radio wave attack, causing large-scale damage to enemy troops. Two high-level Templars can be combined into one Archon. (b) Dark Templar Nicknamed "Hidden Blade", Dark Templar can be permanently invisible, which is especially effective when the opponent has not yet produced anti-invisible units. It is mainly used for surprising early-game tactical rounds or endgames, wandering around the enemy's territory to carry out various destruction and harassment. 2 Dark Templars can also be combined into an Archon. (c) Archon Commonly known as the "White Ball", not only is the formation time of the unit extremely slow, but after the ball is combined, not only does it have no magic skills and can only stand, the damage and blood volume are extremely worrying. In my own test, the author cannot defeat three dogs and a fire cockroach. The possible purpose is to reuse the energyless Templars as a front row. Special Troops Mothership Nicknamed "Big Mother Ship", each Protoss player can only jump to one Big Mother Ship. The huge, rainbow-like mothership often makes it the center of focus of firepower, but it is just an auxiliary positioning. Its speed is slightly faster than a snail, and its slightly fancy ultimate skills make it often like a toy in actual combat. (The current beta version has finally received a wave of enhancements.) (1) Teleportation: Teleport the target unit back to the mother ship (2) Damage reduction: Reduce the attack power and speed of local units by 40% (3) Invisibility: Make your own units and buildings invisible. In addition, Protoss players can also build a separate "forge" to unlock the technology lock of the static defense building "Photon Turret". Photon Turret A static defense building that can attack ground and air. Except for the early stage and endgame, it is actually of little use. Occasionally, someone will play the comic tactic of cannon rush (go to someone else's house to build a cannon in the early stage) to catch the opponent off guard. (It said that only 20 pictures can be inserted, so I won't include photos) The above, the construction is completed!
