Love at the Auspicious Hour

When they first met, he said, “Miss, may I ask your name? I’m Shen Yi. Yi as in ‘wholeheartedly.’”

When they parted, she said, “Shen Yi, your name shouldn’t mean ‘wholeheartedly.’ It should mean ‘forget.’ From now on, we owe each other nothing.”

Yao Se, a little fox, had no interest in the end of life. After living for thousands of years through endless, tedious days, all she wanted was to die. She thought there was no point in living to cultivate immortality. She never dreamed of love or pursuing the heartless path, because love would make her greedy, grow old and ugly, and yearn for eternal life. So she kept trying to die, growing more determined with every failure, until she met a man who made her wish to live forever. Only when he dug out the blood from her heart to save the woman he loved did she realize it had all been in vain.

Shen Yi slept for thousands of years. When he woke, he discovered that he had killed his own wife with his own hands... What was he supposed to do now...? Help!
