Scummy Concubines Stir Up Trouble, While the Villainess Takes Charge of the Marquis's Estate

(Transmigrate into a book + household intrigue + punishing scumbags + groveling for her back) Su Yunzhu transmigrated into a novel about a young lord who regrets mistreating his wife and tries to win her back. But she isn’t the wife he pursues. She’s his mother, the Marchioness. When she opened her eyes, she was standing in front of a corridor in the rear courtyard, watching the young lord hold a woman in his arms while berating the female lead for not being more magnanimous. The furious male lead snapped, “She’s the woman I love! As my lawful wife, how can you not even tolerate this?” The smug woman stared defiantly at the female lead. “Young Madam, I have no intention of taking your place. Please, let us be together!” The flustered female lead hurried to explain, only making an even bigger mess of things. Su Yunzhu fell silent. She remembered that as the Marchioness, she would one day join her son in tormenting the female lead. Her son would then regret everything and poison her to death with a bowl of arsenic, while the marquisate would fall into ruin after the female lead left, eventually collapsing altogether! Su Yunzhu immediately stepped forward to teach her eldest son the rules of the marquisate! The male lead was stunned. “...” Wasn’t Mother supposed to be on his side? Even the woman was shocked. Wasn’t the Marchioness supposed to dislike this family and her daughter-in-law? A scolding wasn’t enough. She sent one to kneel in the ancestral hall and beg forgiveness, and locked the other in the woodshed. As everyone stared in astonishment, Su Yunzhu turned and took the female lead by the hand, asking after her and caring for her in every possible way. After being let out, her son continued to stir up trouble. He insisted on taking a courtesan as a concubine and even wanted the female lead to arrange it. Su Yunzhu sighed. “This family’s values are a mess. Husband, are you sure you’re not going to do something about your son?” Her husband, whom she’d married for convenience, replied, “My lady, I’m all better now. My leg isn’t lame anymore, either. Let’s make another child!” After the marquisate’s matriarch set things right, the family no longer fell into decline.
