The Outcast: Linghu Chong's Martial Arts Journey to Immortality

[A fanfiction set in The Outcast]

One day, Linghu Chong awoke to find that everything had changed. He had transmigrated into the world of The Outcast.

There was no such thing as inner force in this world, only innate qi.

The two seemed similar, so why could they manifest in such different ways?!

Yijin Jing: improve aptitude, temper sinews and bones, ward off evil and disaster...

“Brother Linghu, why is the golden light around you so similar to my family's Golden Light Mantra?”

Dugu Nine Swords: a swordless Zen heart, fleeting beauty, a sword embryo nascent soul...

“Linghu Chong! Nascent souls don't even exist in this world, so how did you cultivate a sword embryo nascent soul?!”

Star-Absorbing Art: Art of Dissolving Power, Minor Formless Skill, Tianshan Plum-Folding Hand...

“Linghu Chong! Where did you learn my family's techniques? Tell me the truth!”

With peerless martial arts at his command, what sparks would Linghu Chong create when he collided with this wondrous world?

That day, he heard the Dharma and learned secrets at the Three-One Sect.

That day, deep in the mountains of Mianshan, he cut off a ninja's head!

That day, he swore brotherhood with thirty-six companions!

That day, faced with the pursuit of every sect, he stood alone against them all, with nothing but a sword.

“Linghu Chong, what is it you truly want in this life?”

In the Human Cave, Linghu Chong asked himself the question from the bottom of his heart.

“Whether in this life or the next, all Linghu Chong wishes for is... freedom and carefree wandering!”

“Entangled in worldly affairs, caught up in endless complications, when will you ever find true freedom in this mortal world?”

“Then what should I do?”

“Become an immortal!”
