During the Military Parade, I Returned to 1945 as a Wholesaler

During the National Day military parade, I suddenly returned to 1945. A squad of guerrillas, battered and exhausted, came through the muddy, rugged mountain forest. Their clothes were tattered, their bodies streaked with blood. They fled deeper into the mountains with the last of their strength, hoping to trade their lives for precious time for the main force to retreat. When they saw me, every one of them looked wary. “Who are you?” I stood at attention and saluted.
