After We Swapped Spirit Pets, My Junior Brother Became a Good-for-Nothing

On the day our sect chose spirit pets, my junior fellow disciple rushed to claim the Luck-Siphoning Beast that had originally been meant for me. It could absorb other people’s luck to replenish its own, and its beast spirit was breathtakingly beautiful. In my previous life, even though my junior fellow disciple’s cultivation was far greater than mine, it was I who secured my place as the sect’s most popular disciple, all thanks to the Luck-Siphoning Beast. Meanwhile, he was ostracized by everyone for having an unbelievably ugly Luck-Gathering Beast at his side. During the sect tournament, he stabbed me through in a fit of resentment, staring greedily at the spirit beast beside me. “A good-for-nothing like you doesn’t deserve a spirit beast this good! Good-for-nothings should have died long ago!” When I opened my eyes again, I saw how certain he was of winning, so I let him have the Luck-Siphoning Beast. Instead, I scooped up the strange-looking Luck-Gathering Beast lying on the ground. He didn’t know that the Luck-Siphoning Beast drained its owner’s luck. Whoever owned it would become a good-for-nothing.
