Fellow Daoist, It's Time to Take Refuge in Me

Gu Chen transmigrates to a martial arts world and becomes a servant in the Prince of Liang's household.

He has no power, influence, or money, and can't even control whether he lives or dies.

When he refuses to change his name, he is brutally beaten and awakens memories from a past life while gravely injured.

Then a petty rival makes things difficult for him. He can barely work, let alone recover from his injuries!

What a bitter life!

Fortunately, he has a scroll called the Spirit-Deliverance Scripture. It can convert any living thing in the world to his cause and make it serve him.

Can't do the work? I'll just pick a lucky person to do it for me!

No faction of my own? I'll convert thousands upon thousands of disciples. Who can compete with me in numbers?

No powerful backer? I'll be the biggest backer there is!

“Buddha saves those destined for salvation. I save everyone under heaven!”

“Those who follow me prosper; those who oppose me get converted!”

“When you're powerful, everyone around you is a good person. I'm different: everyone around me is one of my disciples!”

“There's no hate without a reason, but people follow me and stay loyal for no reason at all!”

“I, Gu Chen, have spent my whole life being kind to others. I've never had an enemy!”

With the Spirit-Deliverance Scripture, Gu Chen grows stronger and stronger. When he reaches the summit, he gazes at the gods and demons filling the sky, his eyes flickering.

Who should I convert next?
