Dun Wen Supreme

In his rebirth in another world, Jiang Dunwen put brush to paper and forged a glorious path that gave equal weight to letters and arms.

The Pavilion of Letters and Arms carefully devised a system for assessing the mental capacity of children aged six and above, based on the depth of their scholarly energy and true energy:

If neither reaches one, a child is called a village talent, showing the first signs of promise.

If both fall between one and ten, the child is a township talent. Martial cultivators enter the realm of Township Warrior, while scholars, clan elders, and soldiers are all among the leading figures of their townships.

If either reaches between ten and one hundred, the child rises to the rank of county talent. Martial cultivators enter the realm of County Warrior, while scholars become county-level officials and military commandants, and may even have the chance to earn the title of viscount.

If either breaks through the range of one hundred to two thousand, the child becomes a prefecture talent. Martial cultivators enter the realm of Prefecture Warrior, while Confucian scholars rise to the level of prefectural officials and military colonels, qualifying them for the title of earl.

If either crosses the vast range between two thousand and fifty thousand, the child becomes a Dao talent. Martial cultivators reach the realm of Dao Warrior, while Confucian scholars become provincial officials and military generals, bringing the title of marquis within reach.

Those whose scores fall between fifty thousand and one hundred thousand are hailed as national talents. Martial cultivators reach the realm of Nation Warrior, while Confucian masters become high-ranking national officials and military commanders, making the title of duke a real possibility.

Noble titles, however, are not easily won. Only those who achieve outstanding military merit can ensure that their names endure through the generations.
