The Blind Beauty’s Escape, and the Sinister Prince Loses Control

Wen Yimian is blind and forced to sell herself to sing for an elderly prince who has little time left to live.

But before the sedan sent to fetch her has even reached its destination, the old prince suddenly drops dead.

She is quite pleased at the thought of not having to serve the old man, who reeks of age.

That is, until the gentle, sweet-tempered young prince of the old prince’s household, famed for his kindness, tears off his mask of benevolence and imprisons her on his bed, obsessively demanding her love:

“My father is dead. What was his is mine now.”

She never imagined that the gentle youth who once held an umbrella for her on a rainy day and walked her to her door

would be so sinister and ruthless beneath the surface.

She pretends to obey, luring him into her gentle embrace, then waits for a dark, windy night to steal his money and run.

But the deranged, wicked man still corners her himself:

“You really are heartless. I had your eyes healed and gave you everything you wanted, and now that you’ve used me, you’re leaving?”

The Male Lead’s Version

The new beauty at the prince’s estate is pure yet alluring, so delicate she looks as if a touch would make her water.

She is Ying Wang’s old flame, who once hoped to use him as a stepping stone.

The old man who coveted her is dead, and his chance has come again.

At first, he only wanted to punish her for using and scheming against him.

Later, their old feelings rekindle. She holds out the azaleas he picked for her and asks, “What color are azaleas?”

In that moment, of all the countless dazzling flowers in the world, none could compare to her.

He sees right through her latest scheme, yet can only murmur, “Forget it. I was willing to walk into your trap.”

He finds someone to cure her eye condition, but she leaves without a word.

He goes mad and turns the entire prince’s estate upside down...

“A mad dog who hides behind a mask but believes in true love X a blind yet clever, scheming beauty who knows how to ensnare men”

“Possessive love + groveling pursuit after losing her + forbidden relationship”
