Echoes of the Book Spirit

Unemployed programmer Lin Xia accidentally discovered that the words in the books were disappearing in the library, and was subsequently drawn into a different world composed of "book spirits". Here, classics are twisted, fairy tale characters fall into madness, and the source of everything is an out-of-control "Pure White Book" - it is greedily devouring all stories, trying to imprison human thoughts in a circular narrative forever. Lin Xia was forced to cooperate with a group of "book spirit restorers" with different personalities: the calm guardian Fu, the lively childlike book spirit Sanyi, the polluted Dianshan, Quan who can transform into a beast, and the crazy Don Quixote Lei Shu. They must travel through a completely different world of book spirits, repair the tampered stories, and fight against the erosion of the Book of Pure White. But as the adventure progresses, Lin Xia discovers that the crisis in the world of book spirits is affecting reality in reverse - he is forgetting books. And the ultimate price may be his own memory, or even existence itself...
