The Heirless Strategist

I'm a fragile college student from the twenty-first century, but I transmigrate to ancient times and become a strategist. From the start, the whole world is in chaos. With my lazy, freeloading nature and a belly full of bad ideas, I figured I'd be the first to die. Who could have guessed I'd end up with an incredible boss? Moved to tears, I said, “I've wandered half my life, and at last I've found a wise lord. If you don't reject me, I'd be honored to call you my adoptive father.” Chu Guang sucked in a sharp breath. “That's really not necessary. I didn't keep you around because I recognized your talent.” I listened attentively. He scratched his head and pointed toward the enemy camp. “It's mainly that you're cheap to keep. But if you defected to them, I'd have to take turns keeping both eyes on watch every night.” “Who could be more shameless than you?”
