Reborn, My Younger Brother Stole My Treasured Master

In my previous life, my younger brother and I overcame countless hardships to travel to the Xuantian Sect and seek masters who could teach us the Dao. He chose the kind and gentle Fifth Elder, while I chose the cold and aloof Eighth Elder. But the Fifth Elder fell into demonic corruption for love and was expelled from the sect. My brother's spiritual root was destroyed as well, leaving him as good as useless. The Eighth Elder, on the other hand, had no feelings or attachments. Every day, she fed me heavenly treasures and helped me break through my core and form an infant spirit. Driven by jealousy, my brother joined forces with the demons and died with me. When we opened our eyes again, we had both been reborn. This time, he rushed to become the Eighth Elder's disciple first. But he didn't know that the Eighth Elder loved raising disciples like poisonous insects, climbing higher and higher by absorbing their cultivation and spiritual roots.
