Reborn on the Day the Fox Clan Chose Its Consort

When I came of age, the entire fox clan sent young women for my elder brother and me to choose as consorts. I chose Danyang, the plain-looking red fox princess, and she successfully bore me a seven-tailed demon fox. Because of his son, the emperor named me crown prince and decided to pass the throne of the Fox Emperor to my little fox. My elder brother chose an aloof, noble silver fox, but after five pregnancies, all five of his children were unremarkable three-tailed spirit foxes. Enraged, my brother poisoned my little fox while he was still young, then forcibly ripped out my inner core and destroyed my body. When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day we chose our consorts. Without hesitation, my elder brother chose Danyang, the red fox princess. I knew he had been reborn too. But this time, he wouldn’t even manage to father a single three-tailed fox.
