Dreaming of a New Motherland

I was the true young master of a wealthy family, lost and raised elsewhere. Before the Chen family found me, my memories ended on a front line torn apart by war. I was a cavalryman. We were surrounded while covering the villagers’ retreat. My last memory was of a blue sky streaked with blood-red clouds. I was relieved the villagers had made it far away. Then I opened my eyes and found myself on the land of a new China.
