The Days of a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

In 1996, Li Yue was admitted to the graduate program at the Institute of Molecular Biology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. But his former workplace had a new leader, who used a staff shortage as an excuse to prevent him from enrolling. The leader also introduced rules banning graduate school applications and transfers. Unable to accept this, Li Yue decided to resign and see what the outside world had to offer. From then on, his life took a different course.
