The Enlightened One

The roar of machinery never stops, and humanity remains enslaved forever.

Le'er, a man and one among the countless slaves, works under a heavy workload for so long that his health becomes critical. He is sent to the hospital, but due to delays in treatment, he leaves this world. By a twist of fate, he arrives in another realm, known as the Seventy-Two Star Era. Everything in this realm is an embodiment of the Dao, full of sentience, so its people call these beings Dao Spirits.

The people of the Seventy-Two Star Era possess such great intelligence that this world cannot contain them. They incur a heavenly curse that limits their lifespans to a mere hundred years.

Fortune and misfortune go hand in hand, and every calamity brings a blessing. Everyone born here has a divine court within them and possesses divine apertures. These apertures can contain the Dao Spirits of heaven and earth, and those who possess a Dao Spirit can absorb spiritual energy from the world and become cultivators, breaking free of their limited lifespans.
