When My Demonic Emperor Wife Learned I Was Immortal, Her Dao Heart Crumbled

Lu Zheng was reborn in the cultivation world and gained the divine ability [Immortality] from the very start. He also gains a new divine ability every hundred years. However, he cannot cultivate spiritual energy. His abilities come from the heart of the divine, manifesting when inspiration strikes.

To fulfill his parents' wish, he married a young girl fleeing famine. A hundred years later, his wife, Li Miaoyi, passed away. With nothing left to hold him back, he faked his death and was buried in a tomb. Then, using his new divine ability, [Subterranean Escape], he crawled out of the ground and began wandering the world in search of immortality and the Dao.

Little did he know that Li Miaoyi had faked her death too.

As it turned out, she was a pear blossom spirit. Planted by an ancestor of the Lu family long ago, she gained a great opportunity and took human form after a century of cultivation. She had come to repay her debt of gratitude.

Learning that Lu Zheng was the only one left in the Lu family, lonely and all alone, she offered herself to him.

When Lu Zheng was nearing a hundred years old, Li Miaoyi felt that their karmic debt had been settled and her Dao heart was complete. She also couldn't bear to watch her husband, whom she regarded as a mortal, die before her eyes, so she chose to fake her death and leave the village in pursuit of a higher realm.

But after leaving, memories of their life together kept surfacing in her mind, making her realize that she had fallen deeply in love with this man.

With their karma still unresolved, she returned. When she learned that her husband had passed away, she had no time to grieve before discovering that his body had been stolen!

After angrily interrogating the surrounding demons to no avail, she sank helplessly down in front of the tomb and swore a blood oath: she would attain the Great Dao and resurrect her husband.

Three thousand years passed. Now a Demon Emperor, Li Miaoyi was plotting to seize the immortal sect's supreme treasure and ascend to immortality to resurrect her husband. Then she saw the man standing before her: the living True Immortal of the Human Race, a leading figure of the righteous path, the Lord of Longevity, Lu Zheng.

Her Dao heart shattered!
