After I Gave Up Trying, My Ruthless Fans Sent Me Straight to the Top

When your luck goes bad, anything can happen. Take Yu Zhi, for example: she was a talent agent forced to compete on a survival show. Not only did she run into her former crush, who was now a mentor, but she also came face-to-face with her former romantic rival, a trainee. Former crush: “I wonder if I have a chance now of getting in line to be your... lover.” Former rival: “Stay away from my brother! Just watch me crush you on my turf.” Yu Zhi: “Fine, fine. Have you both gone crazy?” With a face that could launch a thousand ships but no ambition whatsoever, she became an instant sensation thanks to her apathetic catchphrases. But this batch of netizens was determined to be contrary. Yu Zhi: “I want to go home...” Netizens: “What? You said you want to debut? Sure, we’re all about giving you what you want.” Netizen 2: “I love how she couldn’t care less about her ranking! Girls, let’s go all out! No one can stop us today! Yu Zhi has to debut!” Netizen 3: “I’m more rebellious. The more she slacks off, the more I want to make her debut!” One day, Yu Zhi suddenly posted on Weibo: “Please leave me alone. Stop voting for me. I don’t want to dance, I want to go home. May good people have a peaceful life.” That very day, she shot to the top of the trending charts. Her fans went wild and sent her straight to first place by a landslide. Haters: “You’re nothing but a pretty face!” Yu Zhi: “Here’s a little secret: Shengshi Entertainment belongs to my family. I can’t take criticism, so if you insult me, I’ll sign your idol. Insult me again and I’ll cut off their resources! Do it again and I’ll shelve them and promote their biggest rival!” Haters: “... Yu Zhi is really pretty.” Yu Zhi: “Good.”
