Mr. Ji, Take Note: Your Stand-In Wife Has a White-Moonlight Love

Everyone thinks Shi Yao is madly in love with Ji Yanli, while he sees her only as a stand-in for his first love. Ji Yanli thinks so too. So when his first love comes back, Ji Yanli chooses to divorce Shi Yao without hesitation and rekindle his romance with his old flame. Everyone thinks Shi Yao is a canary Ji Yanli has carefully kept in a gilded cage, and that she’s nothing without him. But once she leaves Ji Yanli, Shi Yao shines brilliantly. She’s the one playing a piano duet with a prodigy. She’s M University’s youngest piano professor. She’s even the piano genius who rose to fame as a teenager, then vanished as quickly as she appeared. Only later, when Ji Yanli sees a photo of Shi Yao with another man, does he realize that all the good things he enjoyed actually belonged to someone else. Ji Yanli regrets it and accuses Shi Yao of being heartless. But Shi Yao only smiles gently and ignores him. One day, Ji Yanli finally can’t take it anymore. He corners Shi Yao by the door and asks miserably, “How am I not like him? Tell me! I can learn, can’t I?”
