The Wife Who Betrayed Me Can't Have Me

My wife insisted I host a class reunion, all so she could sneak off and sleep with her ex, whom she hadn't seen in seven years. I begged her, “I'll wait for you until the very last second before the wedding. Just come, and I'll pretend none of this ever happened.” But while I waited for her, she was at the hospital with her lover. “You ruined his life. I should kill you, and you still think I'd marry you?” My heart turned to stone, and at last I left her behind, just as I should have years ago. But then she took a knife meant for me and begged me to give her another chance at love.
