Reborn to Learn an Art, Starting with No One Knowing Me in Crosstalk

Zhou Cheng transmigrates to a parallel world and discovers that the crosstalk he loves has fallen into a deep slump, a far cry from how popular it was in his previous life. When the crosstalk club his master runs is about to close, he hesitates, unsure whether this craft can still make a living. Then his master takes him to an old house. "These are nearly lost routines your grandmaster spent half his life compiling." "This is an incomplete manuscript, a keepsake left to your grandmaster by a late senior master." "This is a notebook your great-grandmaster left behind. He said it was for the younger generation to read. Who knows how many people have read it?" "Want to see other traditional performing arts? We have those too. Your grandmaster performed three kinds of folk arts, and left behind plenty of experience and materials." Looking at the study full of books, incomplete manuscripts, notebooks, and notes left behind by masters from decades or even centuries ago, Zhou Cheng, reborn, felt his blood surge. "Master, with all this, we have a chance to open another crosstalk club, get plenty of people to fall in love with crosstalk, and add to our founding master's legacy." "No. I brought you here to tell you to give this up for good. Do you think anyone still likes crosstalk these days? These things are just keepsakes. Can they make you any money?"
