Great Qin: The First Emperor Wants to Train Me to Be His Empress

My new book, The Great Qin’s Royal Procurement Agent: The First Emperor and I Are Both Winners, is out now. Please show it lots of support, everyone!

(No romance.) Qin Xuzhan, a PhD in agricultural science, transmigrates to the Great Qin she has always dreamed of, along with her entire agricultural research institute. She meets the tall, handsome, awe-inspiring ancestor she has long admired, the First Emperor of Qin, and becomes his own daughter.

To keep her life of doing nothing and enjoying the fruits of others’ labor going for as long as possible, she helps the First Emperor expose the secrets behind the alchemists’ elixirs and does everything she can to prolong his life.

But...

“Father, you’re alive and well. How come the affairs of the empire have all landed on the shoulders of a young woman like me?”

The First Emperor: “So what if you’re a woman? Didn’t you say women can hold up half the sky? Keep it up. Your father believes in you.”

“No, Father, this burden is so enormous. Aren’t you afraid it’ll crush little Xuzhan? Don’t you feel sorry for me?”

“How can your father not feel sorry for you? The Great Qin will be yours sooner or later. While I’m still alive, you can get used to it first.”

“Besides, your father is getting on in years. You wouldn’t want to see me worrying about these trivial matters every day, would you?”

Ying Xuzhan: “...Father, what is it about me that won you over? Tell me, and I’ll change it.”

“Everything about you wins your father over. Do a good job. I look forward to seeing the Great Qin’s banners planted all over the world.”

Can I tell you that I heard everything you were thinking?
