The Sword of Prophecy

This is a world filled with chaos and darkness. Terrifying monsters crawl out of the chaos and darkness to devour humanity. They cannot be stopped or avoided. All people can do is flee. Humanity struggles to survive in the cracks of this savage, backward medieval world, making it a place rife with schemes, death, and conflict. The story unfolds around a tragic young man. Gadrais once lived a simple but happy life. Then a long-planned conspiracy unfolded, and his powerful enemy slaughtered his parents before his eyes. Seeking revenge, Gadrais joins a mysterious organization called the Hunter Fortress, following an old friend of his parents. By a twist of fate, he obtains the legendary “Hero’s Red Sword.” To keep his enemy from discovering him, Gadrais assumes a false identity. Outside the city, he is the “Red Swordsman,” the chief of the hunters who slays monsters and saves countless lives. Within the city, he becomes a bullied, friendless orphan and beggar, gathering information about his enemy. Thus begins Gadrais’s path of revenge, one that draws him into an even greater conspiracy and secrets that could overturn the world, until he becomes the legendary “prophesied hero who wields the Red Sword.”
