Is the protagonist good, neutral or evil?

The main character's name is a bit awkward mixed in this bunch.

After reading a few chapters, the details are really detailed, and even a bit complicated to the point that people don't remember what they did before when they read the next chapter. Although these settings alone take up a large number of words, it made me feel like I was reading an experimental report rather than a novel. I haven't read much further back and I don't know if it is still mixed with a lot of settings like the beginning, but I personally feel that this kind of writing is a bit tiring to watch. Wouldn't it be more comfortable if the complex settings were concentrated in one chapter and explained so that the usual plot advancement would not be mixed with too long explanations?
