Synopsis

After accidentally transmigrating to a parallel world, Su Wugou discovers that its anime scene is barren. The most popular animated shows are apparently Peppa Pig and BabyBus, aimed at toddlers. The anime on the market is so childish that even elementary school students find it dull, with no substance whatsoever! As a leading animation designer, he can’t stand to see things stay this way. So from the start, he creates an anime, The Outcast, and the whole internet is stunned. “What? You call this a kids’ cartoon?” “A hot-blooded show for the elderly? Even my grandpa’s fired up!” “Now this is anime! I’m going to get a few pictures of Peppa Pig to burn for good luck!” When audiences start cheering for Chinese animation and calling The Outcast a shining light of the industry, Su Wugou smiles faintly and pulls out more scripts: Scissor Seven, 100,000 Bad Jokes, Bad Guys: The Paintings of Jianghu, Super God Academy, The Legend of Qin, and more. “I hear someone thinks Chinese animation is no good?”
