In a Moment of Immortality

There are people who live a happy life and are not stained by dust and smoke. Some people carry a heavy load and move forward, turning their backs to all living beings. Gods, Buddhas, and holy kings, have they ever lowered their heads and faced the sufferings of the world? Reaching for the stars and capturing the moon, moving mountains and reclaiming seas is considered easy. The seeker of the Tao walks alone in the wind and snow, just to get a glimpse of the true face of the "Tao". Hundreds of boats fighting against the current, thousands of sails rising; it is not as good as a paper boat sailing upstream. All kinds of glitz and glamor are ultimately just flowers in the mirror and castles in the air; they are no match for a pot of wine and a big drunkenness. Looking back on the past, the years are mottled. For just a moment, I didn't know what immortality was...
