The comic adaptation, The Impostor Socialite, is now on Kuaikan. Please give it your support, dear readers!

Xu En'en and Lin Jingzhou are broke, so they’re forced to join a variety show called Who’s the Real Billionaire?

Their task is to act like members of a wealthy family on the show and win a million in cash.

On the first day of filming,

the other contestants arrive at the production site in luxury cars,

while Xu En'en and Lin Jingzhou show up on shared bicycles.

Everyone present is stunned.

Staff member: “Why did you ride here?”

Xu En'en smiles faintly. “It’s eco-friendly.”

Comments: [Now that’s the kind of mindset rich people should have!]

When it’s time to eat, the other teams fight tooth and nail to pay the bill.

Xu En'en calmly waits until they’re almost done arguing, then says, “Stop fighting over it. How about you pay today, he pays tomorrow, and you take turns?”

Comments: [Now that’s what a leader should be like: calm and collected in a crisis, with the ability to solve problems!]

After eating, everyone goes shopping together. A contestant from another team hands Xu En'en a dress. She glances at the price, which is tens of thousands, and panics inside. But on the outside, she says disdainfully, “I don’t like spending too much on material things. It’s vulgar.”

Later, the young master Lin Jingzhou says to Xu En'en, “Marry me, and you’ll get a fortune in cash. What do you say?”

Xu En'en, a vulgar woman at heart, smiles faintly. “Come on, honey. Let’s talk inside.”

…

The male lead really is broke at first, but he’s definitely not poor!

A story about a cold, aloof male B-king worth hundreds of millions whose fortune is temporarily sealed, witnessing the rise of another B-king: a broke, outgoing woman with shamelessly thick skin.
