Break Through the Ice

This is the XXth year after the end of the nuclear explosion war. People have become accustomed to this world and take it for granted. A gray tower stands in the distance, surrounded by layers of snow that reflect the faint silver light. Only a few orange-red pipes extend from under the tower to all directions. It was a 24-hour non-stop heating transmission system. The slight heat emitted along the way was just enough to melt the snow, so the roads connecting the various towers were built under the pipes. However, so many great changes have occurred in the past few decades, and the bustling traffic of the past no longer exists - at least in this land full of snow.
