The Golden Years of Little People

This book is set in a rural setting in the 1980s, and truly and vividly describes a poor person in a rural area. The protagonist is described in the third person, and it is a touching story of the author's family going from nothing to happiness. The author personally experienced the historic leap from poverty to well-off society in Northeastern rural areas. Based on real life, he created a story that is at least a real character. It uses Northeastern dialect as the keynote, making it easy to read and interesting. The little characters in the story reflect the social phenomena at that time, and these so-called little characters of ours ultimately create our society.
