1 We finally arrived at Barbarus, and I never thought I would one day expect the warp voyage to be longer. It's not that I'm biased against my cousin, but I can't forget how they destroyed the entire civilization without saying a word. They used gas bombs, bacterial bombs and even ashes bombs. The way they fought was colder than the Mechanicus' gang of iron lumps who only knew how to dig graves. From the Father of Genes, may my brother and I live in harmony with them during this time of training in psionic warfare. Two The situation seems to be different from what I thought. The death guards who received us were very enthusiastic. This abnormal situation made me feel a little uncomfortable. These cousins who received us did not look like the killing machines in my impression. Instead, they had a sense of deja vu as we Ultramarines. Of course, I have no doubt that if I expressed my feelings, I would never leave the duel cage. I have to say, this start was completely different than I expected. It has been some time since I started training on psychic warfare, and I must admit that my previous views on the Death Guard were undoubtedly biased to some extent. Although my Death Guard cousins don't bother to hide their hostility towards us Ultramarines, communication with them is still much easier than with some of my other cousins, not to mention that some Death Guard are happy to have some administrative exchanges with us. Another thing I have to mention is that more than once, I noticed the curious looks of the auxiliary troops on the ship towards our blue power armor. This is not unusual, but I never expected to see emotions other than awe in the eyes of mortals outside the five hundred worlds of Macragge. And my friendly cousins seem to take the behavior of mortals for granted. Perhaps... Our two legions have more in common than I expected. Four Brother Seth of the Death Guard told me the truth. They were the first Death Guards to take the initiative to communicate with us in order to complete the practical homework of the administrative management class. Administration class? Practical homework? I couldn't believe what I heard, Imperial Truth, I have never been so shocked in my more than three hundred years of life. But what was even more shocking was what happened later. I later learned that the Death Guard's part-time courses cover almost all industries, and even include cooking classes. Brother Moore even told me excitedly that he joined the Death Guard's cooking class at the expense of being the one to taste all the dishes. Well, I have to slow down writing this. This shocking fact makes my brain hurt. Our training has been more than half done, and I feel like we have completely integrated into this place. I often see brothers from the two legions leaning together in the lounge and corridors. Some are introducing their hometowns to others with Death Guard pamphlets, some are writing calculations and discussing more efficient management models, and others are chewing together. Leftovers from the cooking class... Except that my cousins sometimes secretly squeeze into a room and prevent us from entering, we are no different here than in our own warship. Although I am really curious about the laughter that comes from the room from time to time, my cousins keep it secret, and even Brother Seth refuses to tell me. Six Today, my cousins finally agreed to my request to go to Barbarus for surface investigation. My first impression of this planet is that it is clean and tidy. Its cities are not as bloated as many other imperial planets. The space between the buildings clearly considers the issue of lighting, and the appropriately dotted green plants in the middle also make the city more eye-catching. Its rural areas are often surrounded by endless waves of wheat, dotted with farmers resting in between and the clear blue sky, which makes me want to take a photo of this scene. It is obvious that the layout of the entire planet was carefully designed by someone, like a giant work of art. And considering what my cousins are capable of, that's not surprising at all. Back to the topic, my cousins took me through the defense lines of the Soulless Auxiliary Army to the Psychic Academy. In Barbarus, every child must undergo psionic tests regularly from birth to adulthood. Children who are confirmed to have psionic talents will be forcibly taken to this academy to be raised by the planetary government and learn how to properly use psionic powers. I saw these students pretending to be children in good spirits. They reminded me of my school life at the military academy in Macragge. Although Brother Seth said that most of the unstable people were euthanized when they were infants and young children, this was a helpless move. After all, that nightmarish day still makes every one of us who experienced it feel palpitated. There is another interesting thing worth recording. In the academy, I saw several children playing a war chess game. Three children controlled the human warrior chess pieces for a team, and one child controlled the alien chess pieces. Most of the human warriors were equipped with gas masks, muskets, sickles or daggers. When there were more than three people, there would be an attack power bonus. As for the ugly alien chess pieces, let's not mention them. I heard three children on the human side bet a heroic chess piece named Karas Typhon, and the fourth child reluctantly picked up the alien chess piece. Ha, that's quite interesting. According to Brother Seth, this is a war chess game invented by the locals to commemorate the first generation of Death Guards who liberated Barbarus. It is very popular in Barbarus. Seven The training is over. No matter how reluctant we are with our brothers in the Death Guard, we still have to leave after all. After all, the Great Crusade is not over yet, and there are still too many planets and too many fellow humans waiting to return to the rule of the Emperor and the Primarch. But I will never forget this wonderful memory in the Barbarus galaxy. When the Great Expedition is over, I will definitely come here to visit after I retire. Then Seth should have returned to Barbarus to become a military school teacher as he dreamed of. Ha, I will never look at the brother legions with colored glasses in the future. Maybe other legions are as full of vision for the future of mankind as we are the Ultramarines and the Death Guard. The owner of the diary died during the Heresy, and the diary was later displayed on Macragge's memorial hall to commemorate the former friendship between the Ultramarines and the Death Guard, even though the two legions had nearly broken apart due to Guilliman's Codex Astartes.

What is this, Void Dragon! Take a bite! What is this, Void Dragon! Take a bite! What is this, Void Dragon! Take a bite! What is this, Void Dragon! Take a bite! What is this, Void Dragon! Take a bite! Crispy and delicious! Very delicious! 😋

That's not to say that you can't watch CP or anything like that, but when there is a slight description of Hades and Lao Mo's good relationship and mutual dependence, the comment is "Mother of the Primarch" or similar clay sculpture pornographic jokes, and the protagonist is Shou by default. I think book friends who like to bump into male CPs should try their best to bump into other friends in book club posts? Frequent comments about clay sculpture protagonists in the original text's comments slightly affect the viewing experience. After all, not every book lover likes male-male CPs and regards the protagonist as a subject.

In 40k, where there is only blood and war, the maverick Death Guards always hide some gadgets that they do not want to make public. Although the Death Guard and its sub-chambers are always keen to eliminate xenos and heretics on the battlefield, even though they are almost the best on the battlefield, even though the Astra Militarum and Brother Astartes who have fought alongside the Death Guard always praise the Death Guard. This does not prevent the Inquisition from always focusing its attention on the secrets of the Death Guard. For example, the "Jokes" widely circulated among the Death Guard. The name of this book may seem nonsense, but it contains information and history that have long been deleted by the Inquisition. This heretical behavior is rampant among the Death Guard, and even this group of Mortarion's sons will hold regular secret meetings and update the contents of this forbidden book. Although the vast majority of the Death Guard remain silent on the battlefield, there are still a few cases where they will taunt their opponents during battle to make them lose their minds. Almost all of these contents are excerpted from the so-called "Jokes Encyclopedia". There are records saying that in order to rescue the Inquisitor who was besieged by the Word Bearers war gang, a sub-group of the Death Guard, the "Hundred Frames", grabbed the bloody dust from their feet and threw it into the Word Bearers' faces. When the Word Bearers looked at the Astartes monks from the Hundred Chapter in confusion, the dust-raising Astartes mocked: "What? Can't you recognize that it is the Perfect City?" At that moment, almost all the Word Bearers charged towards the taunting Astartes, but this also indirectly rescued the besieged Inquisitor and allowed the news he brought to rescue a hive. But after the incident, the Inquisition did not brush the matter aside. Instead, it deepened its surveillance of the Death Guard.

What are those who want the protagonist to rebel? If you have the ability to overturn the table, and are willing and able to lead mankind back to the golden age, then the Emperor will be happy to abdicate directly in favor of others. If the Emperor is willing to take the position of the Lord of Humanity, he will be eager to retire. Then the entire empire will be yours. That is not flattering. If you don't have the ability to overturn the table, then why are you rebelling and joining Chaos? No one with a clear mind would want to join Chaos, right? If you vote for an alien, you are a human. Almost all races in Warhammer are extremely xenophobic. Do you vote for an alien and become a second-class citizen? I still really want to engage in the rape operation of preferring to be with friends rather than domestic slaves. If you want to be self-reliant, aren't you afraid that the whole empire will hunt you down, or that you will be hunted down by people in the whole universe? So why are you rebelling?

Hateful! How dare you disrespect my commander!
