The Midnight Reincarnation World

What if a day weren’t 24 hours long, but... 36?

Every night, while the world sleeps, someone must fight to the death in the world of “dreams” to win humanity even the tiniest chance of survival.

So why shouldn’t it be me?

Before my eyes, the world split into two utterly different paths. The gods of Order and Chaos made life itself their chessboard and waged war against one another.

In each nightly cycle of the world, I searched for a faint glimmer of hope, bearing the hopes of all living things as I sought the one path to salvation.

“Some people stand by the roadside, watching the world rush past toward an unknown destination, full of hesitation and powerless to act.”

“Some people drive the train, leading all of humanity toward a brilliant, boundless future, believing theirs is the only right direction.”

“And some people...”

“Stand in front of the train.”
