Proof of the Old Days

When two worlds merged,

scientific theories once rejected by humanity became mainstream.

The earth was boundless and flat.

The center of the universe lay beneath our feet.

The invisible, intangible space around us was filled with a medium called ether.

Phlogiston was everywhere, contained in all things.

Living things were full of vitality because they contained phlogiston; inanimate objects could burn because they contained phlogiston.

Yet science is never set in stone.

Just like light.

Different conditions of observation can produce different results.

The survivors from Earth were locked in a bitter struggle with the Empire. They wanted to “set things right” and establish Earth's scientific system.

How do you mold the boundless, flat earth into a sphere?

Show your proof!

P.S. This is a book best enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
