365 Days in the Life of a Nobody

At first, the loser didn't think he was a loser, because he hadn't realized the problem: he was a loser. Losers are hard to define. Certain conditions must be met, and only within those constraints can someone be called a loser. The loser thought he was one of the ordinary people, but that wasn't the case. The gap between the loser and ordinary people had already opened up; he simply hadn't noticed. It wasn't the loser's fault. For most people, this is a difficult thing to realize. The reason is that the gap is created by one thing after another piling up, separating the loser from ordinary people. Sometimes these things are so small that they're almost impossible to notice. Even a tiny detail in the way someone does something can count as one of them.
