An Overwhelming Heartbeat

[A messy, reckless starlet vs. a fake pure-hearted puppy who’s actually a scheming, big bad wolf] Cen Xian is stunningly beautiful. In her five years since debut, scandals and rumors have followed her everywhere, earning her the nickname “the scourge of showbiz.” Whenever she appears in public, the comments under her posts are nothing but abuse from fans of handsome male stars. Cen Xian dates for the thrill of it, and now she’s set her sights on Tang Su, who came to ask her to star in a short film. Thinking the young man would be easy to tease and sweetly innocent, Cen Xian only had to flirt with him a little before he came obediently to her side. On Cen Xian’s birthday, Tang Su prepared an exquisite gift for her. Before he could give it to her, though, all he got was her breezy dismissal: “Let’s break up. I’ve had my fun.” A year later, Tang Su made a name for himself in showbiz with his distinctive filmmaking and good looks. On the night he won the Golden Star Award for Best New Director, he was photographed kissing scandal-ridden starlet Cen Xian on the street. The news broke. The internet exploded again. The comments were all pleas for the handsome guy to see the light, for Cen Xian to get out of showbiz, and for her to leave the young man alone. But instead of an announcement that they’d broken up, everyone got this: Cen Xian V: I found a man worth keeping my eyes open for.
