Leveling Up the Business

[Showbiz, married in real life, little tyrant vs. unattainable first love] Qi Nian and Xu Yanxing had been contractually married for two years, but their relationship had always been lukewarm. They were less like a married couple and more like roommates sharing a home. Then one day, the two happened to run into each other at the airport and were photographed. From that moment on, the “Xingnian” ship burst onto the scene and shot to fame, captivating the entertainment world with its heartbreaking, bittersweet atmosphere. “Brother Xu’s eyes are full of restrained love, sob!” Xu Yanxing: I really did think she wasn’t wearing enough and wanted to ask her about it, but I held back. “Qi Nian’s steps as she walked in the opposite direction were so unsteady!” Qi Nian: ...Thanks, I was just afraid someone would recognize me. From the ship’s breakout success to the two frequently working together, fans of all the various pairings cried, “The couple I ship is really making an effort! They love each other so much, sob! Love hidden in the little details is the deadliest kind.” During an interview, a reporter asked Qi Nian, “How do you usually address Mr. Xu?” Qi Nian smiled faintly. “The same way you do.” The reporter asked, “You... call him Mr. Xu too?” It seemed the two really were just playing up a pairing for the cameras. “I use one more word,” Xu Yanxing said, taking the reporter’s microphone. “She calls me husband, and I call her wife.”
