No Negotiating on Claims

Ni Feng had already been promoted to manager of the Sales Management Department. He never expected to be sent to calm down an insurance claimant threatening to jump off a building, especially when the claimant was his college friend's wife... Frazzled, Ni Feng thought, “Please, don't jump...” Wen Zhixia, summoned right after getting off a plane, gave her a cool look. “If you want to jump, then jump...” Ni Feng's eyes widened in shock! Wen Zhixia calmly sipped her coffee... The socially adept Ni Feng said, “I'm glad we can be friends.” The cool and indifferent Wen Zhixia replied, “Thanks, but we're not.” Ni Feng, who usually got along with everyone at work, had finally run into a cold wall. Come witness the miracle of a top salesperson.” His trainee, Xiaobai, reported nervously, “We only made one sale today.” Ni Feng erupted. “Why?” “Because the speaker was...” Following Xiaobai's gesture, Ni Feng saw Wen Zhixia calmly sipping her coffee... Everyone said Wen Zhixia had parachuted into the company to investigate the high claims payout rate and bring Ni Feng down. Ni Feng blushed. “The high payout rate has nothing to do with me. Zhixia isn't investigating me.” Before long, everyone noticed that Ni Feng seemed to have become an unofficial member of the Claims Department... Ni Feng, her ever-faithful sidekick: “Zhixia, I'll help you~” One baffling insurance claim after another lands on their desks: a staged accident, a girl who falls to her death in the dead of night, an overworked young man who dies suddenly... As the truth behind each case comes to light, an old case from many years ago also begins to resurface...
