Knowingly Wrong

Ning Ye was the illegitimate daughter everyone in the Fu family looked down on: quiet, obedient, and gentle. Fu Yunting thought so too. One night, he stopped her outside the club.

Fu Yunting: “Do you come here often?”

Ning Ye: “No, no, I came for a class reunion. It’s my first time.”

Half an hour later, a video of the girl downing drinks and knocking out five men went viral on her social media feed.

Fu Yunting: …

Outside an internet cafe, Fu Yunting watched the girl’s retreating figure and called her. “Where are you?”

Ning Ye: “At school. Is something wrong? Why are you looking for me so late?”

Fu Yunting walked up to her, looked her in the eye, and said each word slowly: “Ning Ye, if you’re trying to avoid me, believe me, I can make every single thing you fear and are running from come true.”

A forceful, persistent, secretly passionate male lead versus a vulnerable but clear-eyed heroine.
