Gaopo Village is a poor village in Taiping Township. It has been short of water since ancient times. When there is a drought, it is difficult to water crops and even draw water. After the fight against poverty began, the poverty alleviation youth commando team of the Water Conservancy Bureau came to Gaopo Village. Under the leadership of team leader Liu Zhigang, they repaired canals, built water diversion projects, and dug wells for poor households, allowing Gaopo Village to have water for irrigating the fields and allowing villagers to drink safe water.
