There are things they cannot do; they grow old, and injuries can force them to retire… The novel Jiyou Criminal Police Team tells the story of a group of ordinary detectives. Its places, people, and events are fictional, but the novel cannot escape reality, just as imagination comes from life. Those characters and stories all bear some resemblance to real life. The story takes place in Jiyou in 2018, a northern region facing the sea with mountains at its back.
