Please Stop Being a Director

Whenever people mention director Li Nian, they think of his classic works.

The documentaries Sin and Little Superstars, the film The Jinyiwei, and the Wandering Earth series.

He is also the chief designer behind games such as Flame, Ghost Slayer, and War Frontline.

It's said that the classic wuxia novel Moth is his work, too.

But when reporters interviewed the actors and staff who had worked with him, asking what they thought of Li Nian, this was what they said.

Wang: “You mean Li Nian? He's a total con artist! That silver tongue of his, I tell you, could convince the living they're dead and the dead they're alive!”

Hao: “What? You mean our boss? Heh, there's plenty to tell. Hey, can you put a mosaic over my face on your show?”

“Oh, sure.”

“Then I'll be honest with you: working for our boss was, well...” He slapped his thigh. “Tough!”

Shen Linglong: “I don't want to answer that.”
