Demon-Hunting Cards

Legend has it that in ancient times, countless demons rampaged across the continent. So the benevolent gods taught humanity a powerful art: how to make and use Demon-Hunting Cards. Demon-Hunting Cards could capture demons and seal them permanently inside a card. From then on, the demon became the card owner's slave, at their beck and call. After countless years, the demons had long since vanished, but the art of making Demon-Hunting Cards lived on. People used these cards to capture ferocious magical beasts and make them serve humanity. Over time, three powerful professions emerged among humans: Demon Hunters, who made a living capturing magical beasts; Card Makers, who specialized in creating Demon-Hunting Cards; and, finally, Beast Tamers, who trained and raised the beasts sealed in the cards. Kalon was a collateral member of the Castro family, a branch of the Poison Frog line. By a stroke of luck, he obtained an ancient Demon-Hunting Card. And so, a legendary tale began.
