The Enlightened Shaman

A testing glitch in a virtual game, and Du Yu, a game designer who shares his name with King Kaiming, send Luo Lanyi to the mysterious ancient Shu kingdom. There she encounters a magical pair of eyes, seven blackened bronze tablets engraved with characters no one has ever deciphered, and a tongue-twisting riddle about someone who is Du Yu, not Du Yu, yet still Du Yu. Luo Lanyi is caught up in a struggle between divine and royal authority. “Divine light shines in the east, coming from there and vanishing in the west. Only descendants of the Divine Mind’s Eye can find its resting place, unravel its mystery, gain its divine power, and become people who bring light to the nation’s lands and keep them in an eternal cycle.” For the ancient Shu civilization that fascinates her, and to find her way home, Luo Lanyi is willing to defy the first law of time travel.
