Above the Sky, in the Middle of the Dust

The poetry collection "Above the Sky, in the Center of the Dust" contains a total of 160 poems by Dongfang Yucheng, spanning more than ten years. The work covers all the important moments in his thoughts from heaven to the abyss: not only the poet's thinking about the world he lives in (mainly in Part One), his confusion about human existence and value (see Part Two), but also his yearning for and management of love in a troubled life (see Part Three), and his pursuit of romantic freedom (see Part Four). We "breathe in the sky" and "pilgrimage to the center of the dust". The author attempts to express through his works that the poet, as one of hundreds of millions of individuals, is invisible and ordinary in the context of the times, and that individuals must pursue happiness in the torrent, even in the dimness and in the cracks. This is where the title of the book comes from.
