Our Cherished Little Koi Is Adorable and Fierce

Ji Yiluo used to be a little koi fish, the kind with incredibly good luck. By accident, she ended up in the human world, where the System told her she had to earn money if she wanted to stay alive. Ji Yiluo lifted her adorable little face. “No problem! I can sell my luck!” Ji Yiluo opened a luck shop on Snack Street. Not only could she grab something delicious as soon as she stepped outside each day, she could also make a little money. Her shop sold all kinds of koi-shaped treats: koi stinky tofu, koi savory tofu, koi pastries, koi chocolates... Eat one and you’ll find money! Eat one and you’ll win the grand prize! Eat one and you’ll have luck in love! Eat one and you won’t keep running into your crush only when your hair is a mess! Luck is limited! Limited quantities for sale! Ten a day! Prices set according to her mood! At first, everyone scoffed and thought Ji Yiluo was talking nonsense. Later, her shop was packed with buyers, and her lucky treats were impossible to get. “Hey, why are you pushing?! I got here first!” “I was here first! Get out of my way!” “Stop bickering! Want a solution? Let me have it!” “...” ...Huh? The little koi got into trouble by accident? No worries! Don’t panic when trouble strikes! Just let a couple of tears fall first, and everything will be sorted out! Ji Yiluo lowered her head and clasped her little hands. Her worthless tears poured from her eyes. “I didn’t mean to hit him. He... he... Waaah! I’m sorry!” The flustered crowd: “There, there, Luoluo, don’t cry. You didn’t do anything wrong! He deserved it! He must have provoked you first! We’ll teach him a lesson for you!”
