Helping Daddy Win Back His Wife Today, Too

[Devoted Couple, Sweet Romance] Because of a deal, Xia Wan became a bride brought in to ward off bad luck, marrying the eldest young master of the Si family, Si Yan, who was said to be born under an ill star and bedridden with a long-term illness. She brought her son along with her. Everyone in the country knew Si Yan was impotent and had less than three months to live. They were all waiting to laugh at Xia Wan. Xia Wan calmly counted on her fingers, planning to take her adorable little boy and roam far and wide, eating and drinking to their hearts' content once her bargain-bin husband had passed away. Life would be wonderful~ But things weren't going quite as planned. Xia Wan had meant to take Si Yan's pulse, but the little darling suddenly bumped into her. Her hand slipped, and her jade-like fingertips traced lightly from Si Yan's palm up his forearm. Meeting his deep gaze, Xia Wan gave an awkward smile. “My hand slipped, my hand slipped.” As Xia Wan reached for something, the little darling secretly tripped her. She stumbled straight into Si Yan's arms. Catching the meaningful look in his eyes, Xia Wan gave a quiet cough. “I lost my balance.” Si Yan raised an eyebrow. “That's the third time today you've lost your balance.” “…” The power went out. The little darling was afraid of the dark and insisted that Xia Wan put him to bed. Xia Wan felt around and pulled back the covers, only to find Si Yan looking at her with a faintly amused expression. Before Xia Wan could speak, Si Yan said, “Did your hand slip, did you take a wrong turn, or are you trying to get in?” Xia Wan: “You've got it wrong. Also, could you stick to your impotent act, please?” Si Yan's brows lifted slightly, a faint light glimmering in his dark eyes. “I understand everything you've been doing these past few days.” Many hours later, Xia Wan: “Understand my ass!!! And who said you were impotent? Drag him out and give him a beating!!”
