I like "cool" articles. My views on "cool" are in the book review of "Lord of Mysteries" in this book list. If you agree with my views, I believe our tastes will not be too far apart. This book list is a book that I can read after 2018, or a book that I am interested in reading. If I can finish it, I will give it a score of 8.0 Or above, so short stories will have an advantage. [Bright Stars] That Summer Night, We Looked at the Milky Way
👌☝🖐Every novel worthy of recognition represents a turbulent whirlpool leading to the real world, condensing the moment of glory for an author to ascend to the throne of God. A good novel should be a vivid world that is logically self-consistent and self-operating. The worlds of these novels are like stars of varying brightness, shining around the sky. This book only collects parts from this galaxy for your reference. The important criterion for measuring novels in this book list is [world compl

I couldn't stand it anymore after seeing the protagonist of Seal. I was really addicted. I accept that the main character of this book, Shenyin, does not participate in the main plot. After all, I have read many novels about group portraits. However, the protagonist is really unlikable and his words and deeds are not uncommon in the Ke series. It is acceptable, but forced materialism is really difficult for me to accept. If you have a theory and practical operation, it doesn't matter. The key is to deny it with pure self-conception. People's long-term experience summary is very arrogant. They can recite spells to drive away insects, and even split mountains and see ancient creatures. You have nothing but you insist that you are right. In the end, the seal of the Immortal Lord still relies on people's local sacrifices. Does it have anything to do with your imagination? Realistically, you are right to think this way, but you have traveled through time, and even through the world of restraint, and you are still forcing materialism. I really can't stand it.
Don't save money first
There is nothing to say about the quality. It is the only one in the whole network. It is understandable that it is difficult to write. As long as you insist on finishing the package, it will definitely be the fairy grass. There is no replacement like the Seventy-two Changes of Disha. Of course, the update is as slow as the Seventy-Two Transformations of Disha, which makes people think that the author has canceled the book.
It took perseverance to persevere through the first forty chapters, but after the second part I felt it was worth it.
It is suggested that the author should use his strengths and avoid his weaknesses. If he is not good at writing comedy, he should write less. I saw readers saying that the cleverness can counteract the depression of restraint, but the previous paragraphs of deliberately throwing jokes made people feel awkward and self-indulgent. They were so embarrassed that they dug out the three rooms and two halls with their feet, and the atmosphere was ruined A good fusion of weird plot and comedy can be participated in It's a book that should be ignored. It's due to the character of the protagonist. He can be serious and funny and talk about things without making people feel inconsistent or abrupt However, the weirdness behind this book is still very good. I will continue to subscribe and support it when I see the paid chapter. Having said so much, I still hope that the book can be written better. I hope the author can refer to it.
Book review
Overall, it is a good book, with some minor problems, but the flaws outweigh the flaws. The advantage is that it is very skilled in creating atmosphere. The use of gram elements does not stop at weird shapes and scary effects, but combines gram elements with traditional culture, accompanied by a large number of explanations and excellent environmental descriptions, to create an ancient, mysterious, detached and invisible atmosphere. There are also some elements that everyone likes to see in the martial arts genre, including magical skills, some showing off, some girls, some conspiracy and manipulation, and some describing big scenes and portraying the human spirit and will. It is a good fusion of Ke elements and martial arts elements, which is worth a reward. In addition, there are indeed shortcomings and contradictions. One contradiction is that there should be straightforward scientific explanations for the existence of all karma... I don't reject this, but I think it doesn't have to be so straightforward. In fact, the article does not explain those existences that truly transcend reason, but what we are dealing with is basically just the projection of existences beyond reason into a world that can be interpreted rationally, so some explanations can be made. The advantage is that it brings things with history and mystery into reality, increasing authenticity. The disadvantage is that it is a bit downgraded and ruins the original atmosphere... Another contradiction is that although the book emphasizes martial arts and restraint, it also pays great attention to the depiction of temple affairs and Jianghu struggle (social aspect). As the basis of the martial arts worldview, this does need to be taken seriously, but it feels like it might be more suitable as a hidden line? The first two volumes pay more attention to personal adventures, while the third and fourth volumes describe too much about the social level, and the story gradually changes from adventure to rivers and lakes struggle and social changes. As the popularity increases, the evil spirit weakens. I'm currently following the fifth volume, and because I didn't read it all in one go, I feel that the thinness of the genre is becoming more and more obvious, and it's becoming more and more like traditional martial arts. It's better to make a trade-off. The last point of contradiction is the borrowing of settings from film and television works... It's harmless, but it will be a bit difficult to understand for people who haven't seen it. Then there are the disadvantages. One is the pacing, which tends to get messy towards the end of the volume, and sometimes the explanations are a bit too long. As mentioned at the beginning, the creation of the ancient mystery of the Ke system relies heavily on explanations, but some of the explanations are indeed a bit long-winded. The second is that the update is slow, but there is nothing we can do about it. Overall, it is a good book. Generally speaking, it combines Ke elements with the writing style of old-fashioned martial arts. It is novel enough and has little sense of fragmentation. The wording and sentence making skills are also good, and it is very comfortable to watch. In terms of plot design and plot performance, part of the content is difficult to integrate with each other (people and grams) and lacks focus. In some cases (starting from the third volume, before, grams was the master and supplementary), it will give people a sense of confusion, and there are also some minor problems. However, these problems will not damage the reception of the complete story, but the reading experience will be slightly reduced, and the story has always been a pseudo-invincible protagonist who pretends to be awesome and deciphers the secrets, which does not make people feel any grievance. It's just a personal review, but it's not bad.
After reading Chapter 19, Groundless Ending, I asked: The author's writing always puts settings in abruptly. I didn't feel it earlier. This chapter felt wrong. After re-reading it, it is indeed true. In this chapter, from Jique to Nan Xia Zhan Zhao, no problem. So how is the connection between Nan Xia Zhan Zhao and Song Zhenzong's "... Fragmented Picture"? Was this picture in Zhan Zhao's hands before? Then how can the residual map of the Hat Demon be related to the treasure? Is there an answer later? There is also the Hat Demon in the previous article, which Jiang Wen brought out to teach Little Shitou. To be honest, it is quite far-fetched. It seems that the setting of the Hat Demon is far-fetched Book friends, can we discuss it?
The writing is thoughtful, support it by voting for it.
Bro, have you ever considered finishing the book, carefully sorting out the outline, and deleting the movie and TV chapters that made you laugh, and starting a new book? To be honest, the previous ones are really trying to persuade me to quit, and it's best not to write a system. Since the system is useless, then just don't use it. I feel that if you really do this, your grades will definitely be several times better. The author of Lulili has done this.
I see many people debating the topic of Cthulhu, so I want to express my opinion
Drawing a fan for the mysterious martial arts world, Big Bird
Located in the Xiangdian Hall is
Universe Superman, open your eyes and update quickly
This author is the first author I have seen who can combine martial arts and horror styles so seamlessly.
The author writes very graciously. In my opinion, it has more feelings than the meatballs, octopuses, and tentacles written by some authors. The Ke system emphasizes meaning rather than form. Those who hard-code the appearance of monsters and the image of evil gods that emphasize sanity fall into the lower category. I really like what Mr. Luo said, which can also be said to be the essence of Cthulhu. "The oldest and strongest human emotion is fear, and the oldest and strongest fear is the fear of the unknown.
According to the reading environment at that time, if you had to update it all the time, you would have become very popular already. By then you will be full after finishing this book. It's not as bad as it is now. How many people are still chasing after it?
Advantages of this book
The advantage of this book is that if you haven't read it in more than a year, you won't be carried away by updates because it has not been updated.
This novel is very interesting, but even though I just started reading it, I saw a large group of people discussing Cthulhu, and there were many misunderstandings. Let me correct the misunderstandings about the Cthulhu Myth for you book friends.
First of all, there is a misunderstanding that many people are talking about. In Cthulhu Mythos, if you face the gods directly, you will directly go crazy, but in fact, there is no such setting. This is probably a misunderstanding caused by the popularity of COCTRPG than the original Cthulhu canon. There is no direct connection between facing the gods and going crazy. Gilman in "Dream in the Witch House" did not go crazy even when he faced Azathoth. In "Through the Gate of Silver Keys", Carter had a long-term direct communication with Yog-Sothoth. Not to mention going crazy, the solution he came up with when he was trapped in the desperate situation of the alien planet was to even see Bubble again and let him help him get out of the predicament. In the two most classic movies "Call of Cthulhu" and "At the Mountains of Madness", a considerable number of people were not crazy. I even think that the reason why those people were crazy was not because of the so-called indescribable things they saw, but the collapse of their own worldview. Then there are the various force values, which are everyone's favorite fighting beasts. (Here is a little bit of knowledge for you. The "Sword of Kings" series written by Robert Howard was greatly influenced by Lovecraft, and "Conan the Barbarian" Conan the Barbarian King led the ancient humans to defeat the snake people in the branch of the Cthulhu Myth. These series formed the original "Marvel" and the level of the Cthulhu Myth in the American comics is extremely high), about Fighting beasts are mainly the human part. In this part, humans are actually not weak. A team of armed bodyguards can easily clear a building full of ghoul lairs. A submarine firing torpedoes can silence a city of deep divers. Cthulhu's youngest daughter, Cthylla, was injured by a small-yield nuclear bomb and fled. The professor at the University of Michigan used magic to expel the descendants of Yog-Sothoth. He could even directly call Cthulhu using the Dark Code. The core of the Cthulhu mythology is not how small and weak human beings are, but that there is nothing special about human beings. The blind and foolish Azathoth cannot understand himself. As a messenger, Nyarlathotep despises the core of chaos but cannot escape. Human beings are no different from the great race Iss, and Kunyan who controls magic. They are all just lingering on.
Emmm, am I the only one who thinks this mysterious style is a failure? Without adding these, it would be a good novel for fun people, but with the addition of the mystery style, it becomes weird.
There is something really wrong with the layout and structure of the Guangzhou roll. Common book friends comment that the protagonist's presence is too weak in the first twenty chapters of the first volume. However, in the latest chapter of the Guangzhou volume, Jiang Wen's presence is still weak and his role is very small. He is like a hypocritical bystander or commentator. He is not only unlikable, but even annoying. As a book friend said in the chapter review of the chapter "Five Sheep Are Now Safe", the traces of the author of the Guangzhou Volume deliberately suppressing and weakening the role of martial arts are too obvious, and the reasons used are not convincing enough: First, Jiang Wen learned martial arts and sealed the sword and boxing, but there is no such thing in the book There is no explanation of what kind of martial arts Jiang Wen has mastered and why he needs to seal the sword and fist to master the martial arts. Secondly, assassinating Shang Kexi is not beneficial to the overall situation, and will also harm the innocent people in Guangzhou. Although it seems sound and impeccable, can Jiang Wen's martial arts really be used only to assassinate Shang Kexi? Why not reveal your identity and cooperate with Honghua Society? In addition, the book says that if the island of Taiwan becomes independent, Jiang Wen will take it back with his sword and sword. It seems that he has a lot of family and country feelings. However, facing the Manchu Qing Dynasty, Jiang Wen is very passive and goes with the flow. This is especially true in Guangzhou, which is very puzzling. Finally, it is not easy to combine martial arts with Cthulhu Investigators, but I hope the author will not just use martial arts to decapitate the deus ex machina at the end of each volume.
Arnold: "The Knight's Record" 😭
A very rich collection of ancient legends and monsters, as well as miscellaneous knowledge. It's just that there are too many quotations from scriptures, and it's more like a popular science than a novel.
I update it every day when I'm not watching it, but I don't update it when I'm watching it.
Can practicing all the martial arts, internal and magical skills in Jin Yong's Heroes to the full level count as a god, Buddha or sage?
If you mean to practice all the martial arts and internal skills that can be learned in the game to the full level in the same week - then the strength of this protagonist has far exceeded the category of "Supreme Martial Arts", and even exceeded the original framework of the game, reaching a position very close to "Gods, Buddhas, Immortals and Saints". This is no longer a "martial arts character", but a "complete body" at the data level. 📈 Numerical crushing: breaking through all common sense First of all, in terms of basic attributes, he has surpassed human limits: · Attack/Defense/Light Kung Fu (100 points): If you can reach 100 in any one of the game, you are already a top master. And in the process of practicing all the internal skills such as "Nine Yang Divine Art", "Yi Jin Jing", "Sunflower Collection", etc., The offensive and defensive attributes will continue to be superimposed, and eventually far exceed the upper limit of the panel (although the panel displays 100, the actual offensive and defensive effects are superimposed). This means that any of the top players in the original work will almost never break your defense when they hit you, while you will get an "instant kill" against anyone you hit. · Life/Internal Strength (999/999): The upper limit set by the game is 999. Due to the cultivation of all internal powers, the internal power attributes have reached "positive", "feminine" and "harmony" at the same time, making him immune to all internal powers and poisonous attacks, and his endurance is unlimited. ⚔️ All-round martial arts: The God of Fighting with no shortcomings The most important thing is that you have mastered all the offensive methods in the game, and there are no blind spots: · Single-point instant kill (Wild Ball Fist + Evil-Repelling Sword Technique): The damage of level 10 Wild Ball Fist is 2000 points, which is the highest single-target output in the game. With left and right fighting, you can shoot twice in one round, which can directly kill any BOSS. The Evil-Resisting Sword Technique (1200 points of damage) and the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms (900 points) are supplementary, allowing you to have top single target output when facing any type of enemy. · Screen-clearing group attack (Sunflower Magic + Nine-Yang Magic): Sunflower Magic (1300 points of damage) is the strongest face-attack martial arts in the original version. Although the protagonist cannot learn it normally, under the assumption of "all martial arts", you have mastered it. Whether you are singled out or besieged, you can clear the field with one move. Nine Yang Magic (7×7 range) is the core in the mid-term, and its efficiency in clearing out miscellaneous soldiers in group battles is unparalleled. · Almighty control and gain: You can fight left and right (two actions in one round), you can use Beiming Divine Art (drain the opponent's internal energy so that the enemy can't make moves), and you can use Xuanming Divine Palm (make the opponent continuously poisoned). No matter what opponent you encounter, you have a dozen ways to make him worse than death. 🤔 Is it considered a "god, Buddha, immortal saint"? —— Half step out of the mortal world After fully practicing martial arts, this character is in a very special position: · In the world of mortal martial arts (no doubt "immortal"): you are the absolute "only god" in the game. The ceilings in the original works such as Qiao Feng, Dongfang Bubai, and the Sweeping Monk cannot survive a round in front of you. This state can no longer be defined by "martial arts master", you are the "administrator" of that world. · In the real world of immortality/mythology (just the "top warrior"): you still can't fly, you can't spell, and you can't move mountains and fill seas. All your sources of power are still "internal power" and "moves", not "mana" or "laws". Although the numerical value is heaven-defying, it is essentially the pinnacle of martial arts, not immortality. So, a more accurate statement is: you are already the "incarnation of heaven in the martial arts plane", and you have stepped into the threshold of "martial arts and gods". In the eyes of mortals, you are a god, but in the true mythological system, you are still one step short of "shattering the void." ———— Converting game data to the real physical world, this character's strength will be extremely exaggerated. However, limited by the underlying logic of the martial arts world (internal force cannot work out of contact and cannot directly trigger a nuclear explosion), he is more like an ultimate "humanoid natural disaster" weapon than a true god. The following is a deduction based on the setting of "maximum level of all martial arts": 1. Strength: hundred-ton strike force, comparable to a "main battle tank" The limit of the "force" attribute in the game is 100, but by practicing all martial arts and superimposing, this value may overflow to about 200. · Destructive power conversion: According to the game formula, the power of level 10 wild ball punch is 2000. This is roughly equivalent to the concentrated release of 80-100 tons of TNT equivalent, which is tens of thousands of times more powerful than a 155 mm heavy artillery shell (about 6-8 kg of TNT) in reality. · Actual combat effect: · Penetrate the city wall with one blow: the concrete at the hit point will instantly vaporize, and the shock wave can destroy walls several meters thick. · Beat people into "fog": The human body's endurance limit is far lower than this, and it will vaporize directly after being punched. · Leaving a crater on the ground: punching the ground with all your strength can leave a crater 3-5 meters in diameter and 1-2 meters deep. 2. Speed: supersonic maneuvering, about Mach 3-5 With 100 points of "Qinggong" in the game, plus Sunflower Book and other bonuses, the actual combat movement is extremely fast. · Movement speed: According to Jin Yong's original description, the top master can reach 100 meters in 3-4 seconds. After all martial arts skills are maxed out, it is conservatively estimated to be 170-280 meters per second (about Mach 3-5), which is close to the maximum speed of the F-16 fighter jet at low altitude. · Reaction speed: Can easily catch/dodge bullets. You aim at him and pull the trigger, and he can see the bullets coming and calmly dodge them, or even catch them with his hands. · Attack speed: Left and right fighting + Sunflower Book, dozens or hundreds of punches can be thrown in one second, far exceeding the limit of any fighter. 3. Destructive power to the physical world: city-level "humanoid natural disaster" He has no skills such as flying and long-range energy cannon, and his destructive power highly relies on contact and internal force infusion. But it is still extremely scary: · For buildings: it takes about 5-10 seconds to demolish an ordinary residential building (rush in and punch a load-bearing wall); it takes about 1-2 minutes to demolish a football field (about 10,000 square meters) (high-speed movement + continuous group attack to clear the field). · Against troops/vehicles: · Main battle tank: A slap can bend the barrel, or dent the armor, and kill the crew inside. The front is strong and stress-free. · Gunship: Jump up and blow it up with one punch. · Maximum destruction scenario: If he is allowed to "drive unparalleled" in the city without any scruples, he can destroy the core area of a small or medium-sized city in one hour. He is not a missile, but a "super infantry" with unlimited physical strength, unlimited ammunition, and extremely difficult to target. To summarize: The upper limit of his destructive power is to demolish a city, but it cannot destroy a city (it cannot cause a nuclear explosion or earthquake). In the real world, conventional armies have basically nothing to do with him (they can't catch him, they can't hit him, and they can't break the defense even if they hit him). Only by using heavy ground-penetrating bombs or nuclear weapons to directly hit him in an open area can they have a chance to kill him. He is a martial arts god walking in the world. He is invincible among mortals, but he has not yet broken away from the physical laws of the "material world".
Good news, the author has updated for 10 consecutive days
If we keep up this pace, we might be able to finish it in our lifetime.
Rereading the first volume, there are still many pitfalls
Although it is not dug, your pit is your trap! The Emei sect of Hongdou mother and daughter has not been mentioned until now, and the Xingxiu sect brother of Lama Ma Ning'er has not been met. At the end of the first volume, it is said that Chen Jialuo, the new chief helmsman of the Tiandihui, will take office three months later, and there is not much said about it? It seems like I said it again
Licking the dog is causing trouble
What era are you writing about a woman? When I asked the male protagonist, he was sweating and speechless. The way he licked it was so ugly.
Has my grass started to be updated steadily? I have forgotten all the previous plots 🙂
Following up on some of my thoughts so far
Let me first try to summarize my thoughts: I always feel that the author is pursuing "storytelling" and "non-storytelling" at the same time. The "story" here is easy to understand. Almost all traditional novels before the 20th century were stories. In this sense, most online novels now are more traditional novels because they are more "story" and "speed". The essence of the story can be summarized as experience. For example, a fire-breathing flying man is just a combination of several things that humans can understand, such as "fire", "flying" and "people". In order to connect with the reader's experience, the writer uses logic. Logic allows the event to be understood by the reader, and then further summarizes some current methodologies, setting up the beginning, climax and ending suspense. These are meant to make the story "good". Cthulhu-type novels involve something beyond experience, which can be said to be beyond the story. The "non-storytelling" mentioned here can be taken as an example from Gide. Gide did not want stories, and Gide pursued things other than stories. In "The Counterfeiter", he was also very hostile to the logic of novels. The protagonist in this book said, "I can never be satisfied with anything I can write. It is precisely because I can write very smoothly that I hate smooth words." The characters in "The Counterfeiter" are thin and the story is poor. It is difficult for us to summarize and repeat in words what kind of story this book tells. The people in it left without talking or acting, and then other people left talking or acting. There are other attempts by other writers. Kafka made the characters in his books talk a lot but not act. Camus and Tuoye made the people in the books just act but not logically. If we say that traditional novels are rational, orderly and as close to nature as possible. The pursuit of "non-story" is chaotic and unclear, and readers need to piece it together by themselves, using their own experience and perception. Many times I feel like this when I read some Cthulhu novels. Many times I fill in the blanks with my own fears into the reading experience of the novel, because the more I pay, the easier it is to be scared. In the mysterious martial arts world, every story seems to be clear, the settings are complete and interesting, and the characters seem to have motivations. Even if some events are concealed, they will be completed when the events end. At least, if I were asked to retell and summarize the story told in each episode, I could do it, and it would seem quite logical and story-telling. But at the same time, there are a lot of narration quotes in the book. Characters sometimes say long words without motivation. When the plot cannot progress, some characters will appear without warning and then exit quickly. Many times, readers need to piece together the details to understand the story, and it is difficult to simply use experience. From this perspective, it seems that the author has been trying hard to draw readers away from the story. Of course, this kind of thing can be simply summarized here as "cannot continue editing" and "watery word count", but when I read it, I always feel that it does not look like it, because I will have a similar experience when reading many Cthulhu novels. That's it for writing my thoughts here. Finally, there are two opinions from my personal reading experience. Don't indulge in description and don't overly and simply show your sense of humor. Completed
It's really well written.
