Extreme Survival in an Otome Game

[A steady, cool-headed gamer with a running inner commentary X a lovesick, unhinged game bug] “Congratulations, player Xiang Ningning. You have been granted access to the otome game simulator.” Xiang Ningning entered the game thinking all she had to do was date the male leads. Within ten minutes, she had reached a death ending. Xiang Ningning: “What the hell? Could you at least be polite?” First game: A large hand wrapped around Xiang Ningning's soft waist. A waltz played by her ear. “Ningning, I'm the only one who gets to kill you.” His words sounded like an intimate whisper between lovers. He leaned down, leaving no space between them. “Mr. Wei, you…?” The woman in his arms was unable to move, and her voice carried a hint of panic. “My name is Wei Ji.” A dagger suddenly plunged into her chest. “Next time, call me by my name.” Second game: The man leaned against the bed, looking terribly frail. “A male lead this weak can't possibly be him.” Xiang Ningning assessed him cautiously and reached an entirely unreliable conclusion. “Ningning, be good.” Only after she was pinned to the bed and made to swallow poison did tears of regret slip down her cheeks. “Hm? What did you say?” “Stay away from men, or you'll end up miserable!” Xiang Ningning died in all sorts of ways, but one thing never changed: the man who killed her was always the same. “Miss Xiang, you're very interesting.” Wei Ji's eyes were full of tenderness, but the hand plunging in the knife never let up. “I'm the only one who gets to kill you.” “Next time, I'll see you off with my own hands.” Xiang Ningning spoke calmly. Looking into the man's fascinated eyes, she gave a slight smile. “Then let's wait and see.”
