The Immortal Academy Acceptance Letter

After years of longing, Zheng Qi finally escaped the torment of being surrounded by women.

Then, one day, a mysterious admission letter appeared, shattering the worldview of the well-mannered young man:

The people of remote antiquity tempered their bodies to gain divine powers, command strange beasts, seize the stars, and move mountains and seas. This was called [Body].

The ancient alchemists took elixirs to cultivate magical power, observe heaven and earth, discern yin and yang, summon wind and lightning, and make their words reality. This was called [Art].

The medieval immortal cultivators formed inner cores to command the six energies, wield flying swords, cleave rivers, roam at ease, and purge evil and slay demons. This was called [Qi].

The warriors of the recent past learned from all things to create techniques, fought armies of thousands, showed fearless courage, stood unmatched by ten thousand men, and set their sights on riding dragons. This was called [Force].

Modern students broadened their knowledge and honed their minds through esports, knew when to advance or retreat, understood gains and losses, put learning into practice, and scored a pentakill. This was called [Mind].

In a classroom surrounded by mountains of corpses and seas of blood, a refined and easygoing teacher hefted a gigantic door-panel sword and began his earnest lecture to a roomful of bewildered students:

“As everyone knows, modern people have had the least time to come into contact with the supernatural disciplines, so they can hardly stand against powerful wild ghosts and demons. Therefore, to give you a little means of protecting yourselves while defending the world... Come on, let me see you play a ranked match first.”
